In April 2020, an orchard located in the picturesque area of Rożnowskie Lake was launched 4-track production line intended for sorting and packing apples into cardboard boxes. The team of machines allows for an automated process from unloading to packing apples into cardboard boxes, thereby enabling the subsequent palletisation of full packaging.
At the heart of the installation is a 4-lane bowl sorter, equipped with a precision vision system for analysis diameter i colouring apples. After measuring the weight, the vision system configures the apples and directs them to assigned conveyors, which transport them to packing tables.
We proposed Standard packing tables of 4 metres in length. Each table consists of: 2 belt conveyors 400 mm wide (onto which fruit is fed from the sorting machine), a conveyor for collecting full containers, a conveyor for second-grade fruit with chutes, and a worktop for empty containers.
For improved operational continuity, the production line has been equipped with a gravity feed system. cardboard cut-outs, which systematically deliver empty packaging. Filled packaging is moved to Central packaging collection conveyor or on packaging slide for manual palletisation. If a particular variety is not needed at the time of sorting, the fruit can be diverted to conveyors that will deliver the apples directly to Case pallet fillers.
In the second stage of the investment's realisation, the manual palletisation of cardboard boxes will be fully replaced. automatic palletising line, which will consist of a palletiser and an automatic strapping machine. The technological line will also be supplemented by the next box-pallet filler and a fourth packing table.
In the third stage, an extension of the line is planned System for pre-sorting with a hydro-vacuum filler. This solution will allow for the preliminary sorting of apples, dividing them into grades, and storing them in the cold store once prepared. This allows for better control and management of the goods available in the warehouse.
