In September, we launched another sorting line that supports one of the Russian fruit farms. This time, the implementation took place in Karachayevo-Cherkessia, and the company that decided to invest specializes in harvesting, selecting and selling apples.
The investor decided on a four-lane bowl sorting line with a capacity of 8 to 10 t/h with water unloading. Segregation of fruit is currently carried out by weight and size, and ultimately it will also be possible to classify fruit by color. After qualifying the apple to the appropriate group, it is directed to a fixed exit.
The line is equipped with an RBR-N scissor unloading robot, which is responsible for gentle unloading of fruit. In addition, we expanded it with a tubular elevator with leaf extraction type EWR-O-L.
We have installed four SPS-4 four-meter tables for packing fruit in the line. We have equipped them with 2nd class fruit pick-up conveyors, conveyors to pick up full packages, a table top for empty cartons and ZRZ drops for feeding empty packages from the mezzanine.
2nd class fruit is collected from the tables using a central conveyor, the end of which is a mobile NSJ-2 box filler. Apart from the tables in the line, two NSJ-2 mobile filling machines were used for packing fruit.
