Second edition of Open Minds’ Debate, in the Copernicus Science Centre

On June 7th, 2018, an event took place in Warsaw, at the Copernicus Science Center, during which we presented the EU project, “Development of the automation technology and robotics of technological processes for sorting and packing with the use of manipulators and grippers” implemented on the basis of the SG OP  01.01-00-0566/15 contract, Measure 1.1 “R&D projects of enterprises.”, Sub‑measure 1.1.1 “Industrial research and development work implemented by enterprises”.

The result of the project will be a new generation of sorting machines, which are in fact automated and robotic processing centers for sorting and packaging fruit and vegetables with features, properties and parameters that are impossible to obtain in other technologies.

The event ( was hosted by TV and radio journalist Mr. Radosław Brzózka, who together with the TVP crew visited our company in 2016 on the occasion of the implementation of the "Jak to działa" programme (http: //www.sorter .com / en / company / how-it-works-in-sorter, 786.html). At that time, we demonstrated the robot's work with a lifting capacity of up to 15 kg.

During our speech at Open Minds’ Debate 2018, we have had the opportunity to present our latest achievement, the second prototype from the series of industrial robots - SUR 5, which is an element of designed pilot installation for sorting and packing of fruit and vegetables.

Following the speeches a debate took place with the participation of a Fanuc representative and an employee of our research laboratory - Mr. Łukasz Gruszka.
